Work-Out vs Work-In?
Work-Out vs Work-In?
What is considered a WORK-OUT? This must be established before moving on to WORK-IN. Technically a workout consists of five components.
1. warmup/stretch 2. cardio 3. muscle fitness 4. cool-down 5. stretch.
1: a practice or exercise to test or improve one's fitness for athletic competition, ability, or performance
2: a test of one's ability, capacity, stamina, or suitability
3: an undertaking or plan intended to resolve a problem of indebtedness especially in lieu of bankruptcy or foreclosure proceedings
From merriam-webster.com
Would a cross-fit session be considered a workout? This can only be defined by what components are performed during the session. Could riding a bike ten miles be considered a workout? Let's try another angle. Warm-up is key, it's considered a preparation. Lasting no more than fifteen minutes. Was it performed before these sessions? Any session, aerobic exercise, going to work? Was a prep performed prior? No prep, no rep. This is why the warm-up is taken so seriously.
Anything, performed after could be considered the main part of a workout.
Now, we're all adults here. Right? You have the prerogative to do and call whatever done physically as well as mentally to maintain the physical being, whatever desired.
That's just the MentFlexX perspective. "It's What We Do."
Let's take an abdominal workout for instance. The abs are the pet peeve in the fitness industry. As they should be. Everyone wants the six pack. Obtaining abs is often harder than maintaining them. Seriously? It's practically the same, just different stages. Maintaining is usually the consistency of obtaining. Abs are phenomenal muscles. Not only do they give the visual pride of ownership right out front. It's the feeling they give. Not only sexy but the feel and look of knowing what you're doing. Even if you don't. Without saying a word. Putting a blog on abs together now. Stay tuned.
A lot of time can go into establishing the abdominals. Strange, when they're already there. Huh! Just need some tending too. Lots of time is spent in this area. Sometimes for not. Why? There are many reasons that will be shared in the piece about them. The key reason it possibly true of any body part in question. A vast amount of exercises, and not knowing exactly which is the most effective. Anything performed that would cause an acid build up in the muscles could be considered a workout. Could it? Anything that causes the cardio/heart to increase above resting comfortably could be considered. Really? Efficiency is the key. Why perform anything with negative or decreased efficiency? Wouldn't this be a major waste of time? Say we only have forty-five minutes. That is all. Would it be considered, it's our health and wellness, better to try for efficiency? Going by components would comparably offer the best efficiency. Should working out be looked at from the stacker perspective? When attempting to maintain the body and brain should daily activities be calculated? Everything else literally takes or subtracts something from both. Every day, all day. It could be considered a chore or a hard to establish daily-routine of self-care. More self-care. Weighed out against eight hours elsewhere for someone else. Self-involvement included. Look at what they make us give.
Anything outside of the body a workout. Weights, barbells, dumb bells, kettle, ropes, etc. Anything out goes into the workout category. Keep it simple. Anything that can change the center of balance is considered out or a workout. MxF perspective. Work with us here.
WORK-IN. Range of motion, flexibility, body alignment. Nothing outside of the body, what is within is a WORK-IN. The heart rate elevated to the target heart range, the respiratory system pushed out of comfortable to increase it's efficiency every other day without outside influence. Calisthenics would be considered WORK-IN exercises. With the understanding, the WORK-IN containing all five components is a work-out. Naturally. It's just a perspective.
Again, if (IN) is not in shape; balanced, regulated, prepared, The efficiency of what is performed (OUT) is greatly decreased. See R.O.M.
What is performed (OUT) cannot repair or heal what is (IN). It is often the opposite. One pec or breast larger than the other? Depending on the reason, weights will change this, nor will any calisthenics. This is where the importance of the WORK-IN get its name and function. Stretching and flexibility exercises can adjust any body part evenly for balance. This is very important and vital to the anatomy (physical) and mental calibration of abilities. So subtle, not even a whisper of knowing the effects and probabilities these small unbalances may or may not develop in the body. Why take any chances? With knowledge of this, could there be some?
MxF is implemented within to repair and eliminate unseen past injuries that may have caused these subtle natural bandages. Ankles, rotator cuffs etc. It is strictly prerogative to continue on however it's decided after reading this. There is no need for alarm because it is a natural process of safety. Implemented without knowledge or consent from the owner. Have we mentioned the body is a bad motha, shut yo mouth? It is truly amazing.
These injuries mend or heal shorter, with a different texture. Remember it is replacing or covering an injury. It has to be tougher to mend and heal at the same time. Scar tissue, that's the ticket. Unless it was immobilized during the course of healing, which could be considered worse. The total elimination of mobility, movement, opposed to a smidgen more flexibility or room where the range of motion was only compromised by the injury itself. Not to make a long story longer. These mends and healed tears can facilitate a shift of the ligament; tendon, muscle, bone and joint. The body's alignment. Being within the body. MxF represents a method presently available for the noninvasive correction and adjustment of these past injuries. Decreasing the chances of future unseen boo-boos'. This information is everywhere. Not a big deal. Especially if the injury happened while in the Jr. high school. Physically speaking. It's the mental aspect of an old physical injury that's could possibly present the unseen issues.
There is more of an in-depth description of this in The Tao of MentFlexX.
MxF is a scientific method of health, wellness, and fitness. Work-In or Work-out. We look at both on a broader scale. It is a must when the body and brain are actually considered. Being much more complex than a session.

What's that saying? "Tupelo wasn't built in a day." Our bodies, build and rebuild constantly. They are always under construction of sorts. Silently, discreetly, safely and most of all naturally.
A three-hour workout at the local, not to be judgmental. Wait, what was done for the other two and a half hours? Terry was there huh? Jackie worked today huh? The temple is much more complex than that. Much more.
We don't know. We were instructed by those that didn’t know, etc. Not claiming we do. We really don't have to. MentFlexX speaks for itself. We only represent it.
"The FlexX" is a 30-minute WORK-IN that prepares the body by correcting these minor injuries, that can possibly be causing major issues? Sending this new data to the brain. Updates of the re-alignment of the body from within, preparing it for work outside. It is safe and completely natural. Unique, like the user. Injuries are rarely the same degrees per participate. Could be the same right ankle, the degree of damage and manner of healing will be unique per individual. Again, it is purely prerogative to continue by choice. Our only objective is to provide a way to increase the efficiency of time, goals and benefits attempted. Simply and safely with this uniquely, new method of health, wellness, and fitness.
All of this to compare the workout vs the WORK-IN. Let's eliminate vs. Now, work in-workout, typed like this work-in is technically a work-out, after all, read and done. A different aspect and principles working toward the same goals. Not versus, toward not against. With, in. Within. A car is only as new as it's oldest parts, looks nice parked on the side with the hood up. How does that happen?
Remember! always prep before you rep. Research the cool down/stretch component. Word is they can be kind of cool. No pun. Check for the blog about this component. Coming soon.
